Wildlife of Glamorgan

Welcome to my website.

I began the switch from slide film to Digital about ten years ago.
After over twenty years of using slide film (and accruing about 10,000 images!) it feels almost like starting all over again.

I use mainly nikon equipment:
D500 body, a Nikon 300mm F4, a 105mm Sigma Macro lens and a Tamron 60mm Macro lens.
I also have a very old (1992) Sigma 500mm F4.5, which I very rarely use.

My original reason for building this website was not just as a place to display my photographs, but also to show the richness and variety of Glamorgan's Fauna & Flora.

There is a menu underneath the "Home" tab at the top of the page, from which you can access the "Recently added and Favourites" section. This is the easiest way to enjoy a quick visit.

You can also access the site from a Tablet or Mobile Phone, although it is better on a PC.

Birds are shown in the season they normally occur in Glamorgan.

Plants are shown in the habitat they were photographed in, although some plants will obviously grow in a range of habitats.
I've tried to show Glamorgan's most interesting and unusual plants.

No animals (or plants) were harmed during the making of this website!

As with most websites it's a "work in progress", and new images will be added regularly.
I will try to add an index at some point.

All of the Images of my website are available for purchase as high resolution files.
 - contact me for details.

Comments and constructive criticism welcomed
